Abstract
This study focuses on factors that affect an ERP implementation in King Saud University from users#x2019; perspective. After reviewing related literature, a theoretical model was developed and four hypotheses were articulated to look at the status of system implementation at the university. The tools that were used in the study were a questionnaire and interviews. Both were designed by the researcher and used to achieve the aim of the study. The study shows that overall success is dependent on the satisfaction levels of the users. It also finds a significant relationship between satisfaction level and challenges on implementation. Further, the study emphasizes that the top management commitment is a very important factor for implementing the system. However, the study found no significant relationships among some of the training factors and a successful implementation of the system. The study suggests some recommendations that enhance the implementation of the system in the university.
