Abstract

Purpose: The research will examine the impact of motivation and recognition on employee#x2019;s performance in public and private sector banks of Punjab and Haryana. In the current era it is a challenge for the managers to imply strategies which motivate employees to improve their work performance and productivity. Design/methodology/approach: Structured questionnaire is used to collect the required primary data from 100 respondents in public and private sector banks in Punjab and Haryana. Descriptive statistics, correlation, regression analysis, factor analysis and t-test are used as statistical tools in analysis
